Last night I started my 100 push up program and I’m happy to say that I’m not as sore as I thought I would be. There was some ache and pain afterwards, but a warm shower took care of that. When I was doing my last set, I did the minimum… and number 9 was tough. I compared it to that scene in a movie when the hero needs that extra strength to pull someone up or lift something and they give that yell. Mine was “NIIIINNNEEE!”

I took a look at day 2… hope I can pull it off.

my mind is working overtime today, all I can think about is Entenmann’s chocolate cake. I can taste the moist chocolaty goodness on my tongue. Good thing I brought my carrots with me today. I’ve been craving them as well.

Tonight I’m starting the 100 pushups workout. I hope I can continue on Wednesday

wow, polaner all fruit black cherry is tasty and i can eat that. it’s been a while since i’ve had a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. i know what you’re thinking; james, what about your “diet”. i tried a peanut butter that the eat this, not that book suggested, but it wasn’t the same. i’ve made sacrifices, but peanut butter will not be one. i just will watch my intake of it.

and the amount of push-ups i was able to do on my initial test of 100 push ups. 17 was when i was in great shape from all the cycling i used to do. now i can’t walk up 5 flights of stairs without breathing hard. i still have a decent metabolism for my age… if i don’t overdo the sugary goodies

back in january, i weighed myself and i clocked in at 205. i bought a exercise bike and began riding everynight for 30 minutes. as of this past sunday i’m 188. i would weigh less, but there were some weeks i didn’t ride and/or i had junk food

another credit is the lose it! application for my Ipod. it’s a calorie counter, but it has a database of supermarket brands and resteraunt dishes. you can add your own foods and recipes as well. i’ve been using for the past several months and i enjoy it

as i write this, i feel a bit nauseous from the “intense” work-out

brian has also influenced my dietary choices, i’ve swtiched to activia yogurt. they’re 10 more calories than my previous choice, but much tastier. vanilla is my favorite, with cherry a close second

i’ve limited myself to one flavored drink at dinner; cranberry juice, iced tea, grapefruite juice or dr. pepper. if i’m thirsty later on, it’s water. i save money on drinks and save caloires on my body

i went to the movies tonight and saw star trek. it was good and i enjoyed it. my only complaints; some of the action scenes were hard to follow cause the camera would move and the lens flare would block out the actors. overall i think they did a good job of paying tribute to the original tv series while poking fun at it.

as i was pulling up to the theater i saw that drag me to hell was also playing. i think i will go see that next week. i’m glad sam raimi got back to his horror roots.

how’s this for weird? when i was in line to get a soda, i saw a girl i worked with briefly 2 years ago on a temp job. funny how we both picked tonight to go see a movie.

I wore my blue shirt and tan khakis today which made me think of an ex gf who worked at blockbuster and she had to wear a similar outfit. That thought led to when in was in Junior Achievement and we had our annual sale. It was the Mt Kisco mall and we had to look professional. I wore khakis and a sweater that day. At one point a friend and I went to the drug store for snacks and soda. As we were walking down the aisle a woman came up to me and asked the location of an item. I guess my outfit convinced her that I worked at there. I began to lead her around the store trying to find it, but I didn’t know. My friend followed us laughing to herself. After a minute, I said I’m new here and not sure where everything is and she could ask upfront. She said thank you and walked away. My friend and I made a break for it, laughing all the way back to our booth.

i just watched cashback and it wasn’t anything i expected. first, it was from england. second, i thought it was going to be a goofy comedy with romantic undertones. it wasn’t as goofy as i thought. it wasn’t anything i expected. it was a good movie. good enough that i would consider buying it on dvd.

if you get a chance to rent it, or if you have netflix, i would recommend this movie

a big FUCK YOU to nbc for cancelling a great show while they beat the dead horse known as the office.

i admit earl in a coma was weak plot, but this season was amazing. it was the only show i bothered to watch on hulu.

now i’ve got energy to burn off while cleaning my apt.

FUCK YOU NBC!
